Further to my experience with the BBQ rib sub, which was actually quite enjoyable, I thought I would try another one of the huge Rustlers finger food microwave range. Being a great fan of meatballs, and particularly the subway variety I thought the meatball sub would be the ideal one to try. Being a cheap and cheerful version, I knew there was no way this would be as good as the subway version but I didn't think the Rustlers version would turn out the way it did. ****Cooking**** Like the whole Rustlers range cooking times vary depending upon the power of your microwave. I picked a couple of these up from my local shop the other day . I try not to eat too much junky food, but I'm going away in a couple of days so I'm trying to let my fridge run down so nothing spoils. At the trial price of £1 each, these looked just right for a filling lunch. The sub comes packed in a see through plastic container with a printed lid, which tells us this is Rustlers Hot Subs Tangy Meatballs With Tomato & Herb Sauce, and has a colourful photo of the sandwich on the pack . When it comes to snacking I'm the worlds worst for it to be honest. I usually am so busy that I like food I can simply bung in a microwave and eat. I simply can't be bothered in cooking for just little old me! The other day I come out of the gym starving! It was late at night and I needed to eat, shower and go to bed so I wanted nothing too complicated to cook myself and nothing too heavy on my tummy and that's when I saw this in my local Nisa store.
