I decided to give Crackerbread a go about three years ago when I was desperately trying to get rid of my baby weight. I needed an alternative to bread, I was the ultimate doorstep sandwich girl and really needed to stop as I feeling bloated to Violet Bureagarde proportions. Though I hadn't actually gone purple. Anyway, I found these as decided to give them a go. I don't dislike original Ryvitas but I was getting a tad bored of them. Crackerbread, although made also by Ryvita, is totally different so did make a change. In an orangy/yellow box with a few slices of cucumber and what is probably heallthy creaam cheese as a 'serving suggestion' you get 200gm worth ... Read the complete review

Crackerbread are made by Ryvita and available in most supermarkets. I paid 85p for 200g from my local Tesco and this gives around 25-30 crackers which are 19 calories each and contain just 0.1g sugar and 0.2g fat. The crackers are light & crispy as they are made from wheat flour and they are the perfect alternative to bread for those who are trying to watch their calorie intake. Admittedly two crackers together aren't as filling as a sandwich but they still have this lovely light taste to them that make them just delicious when covered with a thin spread of butter and peanut butter. Make sure that the ingredients you spread on these are soft otherwise you ... Read the complete review

I've been on a diet for ages, and was quite shocked to see that bread is actually quite unhealthy (even wholemeal). I was having bread for brekkie and lunch, so I wanted to mix it up a bit, and here comes...crackerbread! What is it? It's basically rectangular crackers made from wheat. The result is a light and airy, crunchy cracker that contains just 19 calories. I have to say that these are fairly dull, but then so is bread is it not? The consistency is very light and aerated, not that much different to polystyrene, although I wouldn't recommend using these to insulate your loft. The smell is pretty neutral, with just a smidgen of the ... Read the complete review

Ryvita Crackerbread - the name implies that the product is a combination of a cracker and a slice of bread doesn't it? Although I have enjoyed many a slice of Crackerbread I am still struggling to get the connection, the cracker part is there but the bread part isn't, if you get my drift. The Other half loves cheese and crackers for a lunchtime snack, lets face it there is no preparation involved, it's just a case of slap the butter on, slice the cheese, cut a radish into a Coat of arms to garnish the plate ( just jesting ) and sit down on front of the television and enjoy the midday news. Many find the original Ryvita too much like hard work, for ... Read the complete review

I remember my mum eating these all the time when I was little and never knew what all the fuss was about until I was in the cracker aisle a while back. My son was getting fed up of sandwiches for lunch so I thought I'd give these a go and we've both been hooked eversince. What are they? They are long, rectangular crackers which are about a half an inch thick. They are made from wheat flour and are only 19 calories per slice and 0.2 grams of fat. Smell. To be honest they don't really smell of anything. Quite bland really. Texture. They are very crunchy and it's almost like eating a biscuit. They kind of melt in your mouth ...
