Premium Review Ryvita Limbos - Cheese and Onion: Cheese & Onion - Hardly! (604 words)

I purchased a multipack of these cheese and onion 'Limbo's as my daughter had asked for some low fat snacks she could take into college with her and from the description they seemed to be just the ticket. They come in a multipack of '5' and the outer pack is basically a larger version of the smaller packs inside, they cost £1.69 (from Tesco) which works out at about 34p per pack which is reletively expensive for a multipack snack. The green pack stands out with the 'Ryvita' logo in the top left hand corner and 'limbos' emblazed across the middle in huge lettering. There is a picture of the snack itself which looks tube like, but is a little misleading to be ...  Read the complete review

Ryvita Limbos - cheese and onion flavour - Irresistible baked crispy snacks -Wholegrain goodness - Only 3 % fat and 63 calories per bag ....... Do they have your attention yet? Who wouldnt give them a go? As with so many of us I feel that I have overdone it this christmas and have the new year 'urge' to loose a few pounds! This in my case is easier said than done especially as Ive allowed myself to eat pretty much anything ive fancied for the past 3/4 weeks. When I saw these on offer on an end aisle display at my local supermarket I thought that they were the answer to my new years resolution! When I fancied something naughty I would reach for these and fool my ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ryvita Limbos - Cheese and Onion: How Low Can You Go? (446 words)

Another diet product. As fond as I am of fruit, sometimes crisps are what I want to snack on. Over the last few years Ryvita seem to have expanded enormously, into a wide variety of types and flavours of crackers, and now into the realms of diet crisps. Or should I say 'snacks', as these are made of wholegrain wheatflour rather than potato. At 82% wholegrain (baked rather than fried), with only 3% fat and 63 calories per pack, these look like a great healthier option to crisps. New Ryvita Limbos are sold in packs of 5 and currently cost £1.69 in Tesco. They are also available in Smoky Bacon and Salt and Vinegar flavour, but I chose Cheese and Onion - it might ...  Read the complete review

One of my colleagues told me about Ryvita Limbos the other day so when I saw them on a half price offer, I decided to try them. They usually retail at £1.20 for six packets, but I managed to get mine for 65p for the same amount. They are made by Ryvita, and advertised as the new healthy snack which contains only 63 calories per bag. This is an impressive amount for a packet of crisps so I was quite excited to try them. Being this low in calories, they are obviously baked instead of fried and upon looking at the packet I saw that they only contained 3% fat which is not that bad in comparison to other crisps. With my packet being the cheese and onion ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ryvita Limbos - Cheese and Onion: BETTER THAN I EXPECTED (286 words)

I absolutely hate Ryvita's. They look like bits of cardboard and taste like gritty bits of cardboard, so what are these and how can I review them. Surely if I don't like Ryvita, then how can I write about them? I found these in the Crisp aisle. Being back on my diet and loving Crisps I was looking at the healthy low fat range and a multipack of these cost £1.99 for 6 bags. Bit pricey I thought, so I didn't buy them. Last week I saw in Tesco they were on offer for £1. That's more like it I thought and I bought a pack. The only 2 flavours i've seen in these oddly enough is Smokey Bacon and Cheese and Onion. You only get the 6 bags the same, so perhaps ...  Read the complete review
