Ryvita! Yuk, like eating cardboard was what I used to say many years ago, (not that I have ever eaten cardboard!) I couldn't see why anyone would want to buy it or eat it. Tasteless, hard and boring. Years later have I changed my mind? Mmm? Yes I have, well at least with the Sunflower seed and Oats variety. I admit I still won't buy the plain variety! My eldest daughter was on a diet and left part of a box of the sunflower Ryvitas when she went home, so I tried one as she said they were lovely. I finished the box and one day bought another all for me. *The Box* Bright yellow oblong box with lots of sunflower seeds and a picture of ... Read the complete review

Guys aren't supposed to like Ryvita! Right? It is supposed to be one of those namby pamby diet foods that tastes like nothing, and makes you feel all good about yourself for not consuming pounds of fat in the form of, say, bacon or sausages. Well guys, sorry to let the team down, but I like Ryvita. Well sort of! <*~ MisterReview backpedals, somewhat to save some face with the lads ~*>. I see it not so much as a girly snack, but more of a convenient container for good hearty manly, filling foods such as seriously strong cheddar cheese and Yorkies - right I made up the bit about Yorkies and Ryvita, though anything is ... Not being able to eat "normal" bread, I am always on the look out for a tasty cracker that doesn't contain wheat or yeast. A friend told me about Ryvita Sunflower seeds and oats. The ingredients are wholegrain rye flour 74%, sunflowers seeds 14% and oats 11%. I am telling you the percentages so you know that that the sunflower seeds and oats are a major part of the recipe- how often I have read other products that according to the packaging contain a certain ingredient only to see from the ingredient listing that the product is so far down the list as to not to have made much difference- except to the marketing! One side of the crispbread ... Read the complete review

Last year when these new Ryvita rye slices came out I wanted to try them as I love whole grain products and nut seeds... These 'Sunflower seeds & Oats' are a new type of crisp bread that are made with 199% wholegrain rye and natural ingredients. The prices varied a lot depending if you saw them on offer or not, but I remember they started off at £1.39 and then ended up at 89p making them a more affordable snack :) Now I love this type of food either with jam as a snack or with cheese as a lunch, either soft or hard cheese, I don't really mind either is yummy with this type of brittle dry food to add moisture. There was a ... Read the complete review

I've been eating Ryvita since I was about 17 years old. I won't tell you how many years that is, but they're obviously doing something right as I always have a box of Ryvita in my cupboard. Up until a few years ago, the choice of Ryvita crispbreads on offer was quite narrow. There was the Original light Ryvita crispbread is made with Wholegrain Rye and Ryvita Dark Rye. I mainly bought the dark rye for the tiny amount of extra fibre content. Then everything changed and the supermarket shelves have seen a huge influx of crispbreads, crackers, crackerbreads and oatcakes to name a few. Ryvita stepped up the competition challenge and have been steadily ... Read the complete review
