Disadvantages: Not the cheapest product on the market
Ryvita Thins Multiseed
Description: Manufacturer: Ryvita / Type: Biscuits
Mrs Assasin has decided that as Christmas is fast approaching, we need to be eating healthily in anticipation of the excess that always seems to happen. These were bought from our local supermarket and we paid £1.76 for a 125g box (around 20 flatbreads).
These come in a yellow box and are sold along with the other items in the Ryvita range, they are more expensive though which is a shame. They are basically longer and thinner than normal Ryvita. They are covered in loads of different seeds and have a really good crispy texture, but don't fall apart when you bite into them.
Nutritional values are as follows (per cracker)
34 Calories
01.g sugars
1.0g of fat
0.2g saturates
0.6g fibre
0.2 g salt
Ingredients are as follows;
Wheat Flour, Mixed seeds (24%) (Hemp Seed, Brown Linseed, Golden Linseed, Millet Seed), Wholegrain rye flour (8%), Palm Oil, Sea salt, Yeast.
These were surprisingly good. The seeds give them a nutty flavour and they are great for dipping, though remember to dip into something healthy or you lose the benefit! We had roasted pepper humous and it was delicious. If you are looking for something a little different to use with dips then these may be worth trying as they do taste good. It is a shame they are so expensive though but we will be buying them again.
One thing that I would change is the packaging, once you have opened the cellophane interior wrapper, you need to store them in an airtight tub to keep them fresh, it would be useful if they came in a resealable packet.
Summary: Well worth trying
