Not so cost effective then to buy cheaper makes. I have found other brand names too dry or too salty. With one particular make, I had a constant thirst after eating. I have been using pesto sauce in cooking for years, mainly in pasta dishes but more recently put it to the test in other recipes and each time it has been a success. So what is pesto sauce? The basic ingredients of pesto sauce are fresh basil, Parmesan cheese and pine kernels, bound together with olive oil.
