At 2% fat and 5% sugar, and costing just 7 pence a pack, this is a relatively healthy, and definitively cheap dessert; sound good? Then read on. Coming from the Sainsbury's basics range, this is ultimately a cheap-o rip off of Angel Delight. It comes in powder form, and you mix it in with milk to make a smooth, creamy dessert that is lovely on its own or can have stuff added to it. The packaging is the usual bland mix of orange and white, and this is something that has grown to be known as meaning 'Sainsburys will now attempt to rip off a well known product and do a better job for less money'. On the day I purchased a packet of this chocolate dessert mix I read the one and only review of the stuff from Foxylady. She didn't think much of this product so I wasn't expecting much either. I bought it for my son as I like to try and mix up his desserts a bit and this was only 7p so if he didn't like it then there wouldn't be much of a loss. I wasn't planning on trying this product because I am trying to eat well but after reading the fat and sugar contents I was pleasantly surprised and decided to give it a go too. I love chocolate and I love puddings in general. I particularly was interested in trying this with a price tag of only 7p a packet..... though to be honest I wasn't expecting much from it on the taste front but I was really curious about it for the price and I do like to try out new things! The Packaging....
