Dear me, the first thing you think of when you pour yourself a bowl of cornflakes in the morning should not be 'UGH CHEWY!'. Unfortunatley, this was exactly my reaction when I tried these budget easing culunary abominations. Flavour wise, I can't really fault them, since toasted corn tastes pretty much the same whereever you get it, but in terms of texture...Well, I just found myself chewing my way through the bowl of these with a sort of grim determination rather than any actual enjoyment. When breakfast becomes about proving to yourself you will not be beaten by a bowl of cereal you know that you aren't exactly onto a winner.

Now although the basics range can be a bit hit and miss, I did genuinely expect a better product for my hard earned 46 pence. After all, I've had the tesco value equivilant and found them to be perfectly acceptable and if they can do it well for that price why can't Sainsburys?
