The packaging is designed to be basic, because it's part of the Sainsbury's Basics range. So the packaging is slightly ugly, but who cares? I think the world is caught up by uber powerful brands. If you are looking for a cheap packet of crisps to serve along side a nice lunch then these are perfectly alright. Pour them next to your lunch and it'd be fine! They have the same texture and crunch as any other crisps but the flavour is a bit weak. Admittedly they aren't amazing, but they don't taste too bad. I don't usually buy the basics stuff if I can help it. I like to eat as well as I can afford to, and can usually stretch to the normal sainsbury's stuff. However, at the end of term, just before christmas, I was feeling a little strapped for cash as I had spent all of my student loan, and decided to invest in some sainsburys basics crips. My advice is this: DONT BUY THEM The packaging is the usual sainsburys basics packaging. Orange and white and unimaginative. For every single flavour packet I tried there didnt seem to be much flavour. You could just tell what flavour you were eating, but it was eating diluted crips. Not nice. And they ...
