I can only suppose that those of us who live on the equivalent of a basic wage have to cut our cloth according to our means and make good use of those basic goods and that well and truly includes me. When I was a child I used to love lemon curd although I have to say it is not something I think to buy these days.However the other day my two daughters wanted to make some cakes and the recipe required a lemon curd filling. Sainsbury's Basics Lemon Curd I rarely go the Sainsbury's mainly because I find it is more expensive than Tesco, Asda and Morrisons but I have been a couple of times this week as it is local to where I had been visiting. I only needed a few bits on each occasion and knew that I would be able to get stuff from the Basics range without hurting my pocket.
