I had some Sainsbury's vouchers to spend so I decided to stock up on staple foods such as rice, pasta and tinned foods. It is generally recognised that starchy foods such as bread, cereals, pasta, potatoes and rice should form the basis of all meals. They are a healthy because they contain little fat. This rice for example only contains 0.6g of fat per 100g. I don't usually shop at Sainsbury's as it is a little out of the way and this was the first occasion I had ever purchased a product from the Sainsbury's basics range.
