I had, untill recently, been buying Asda smartprice yoghurts. However, my local changed from a somerfield to a sainsburys so i decided to head down and see if there were any bargains to be had. This yoghurt, is definately one of those top buys, and i would recommend it to anyone. Price ----- The price is the ... Read the complete review

These yogurts can be found in the fridges at Sainsburys and I buy them when we are nearing the end of the month and my food budget is running out. For just 29p you get four yogurts containing strawberry, black cherry, peach and raspberry flavours. All of the yogurts are of a good consistency and although I'd prefer them to be a little ... I am pleased to say have the best intentions when I go shopping and I always buy yogurts for me, fromage frais for my daughter and chocolate mousse for my son. The kids always eat all of theirs usually before the week is out. Me however end up throwing the yogurts that I brought my self weeks after the sell by date. My husband couldn't ... Sainsburys Basics Yoghurts tend to be 29p for four tubs of 125g, two each of Peach and Strawberry. As they are very similar I'm going to focus on one flavour for nutritional info and taste etc. The packaging is very simple, just four pots attached together with the Sainsburys basics orange and white labelling. I find this kind of ... Read the complete review

The other day I had the thought of yogurt and I decided to buy them because I'm powerless beneath my every whim. Not really, but I don't know. Apparently natural yogurt is healthy and things, right? So I looked it up and found, yes, excellent, Sainsbury Basics! Doing a yogurt. A low fat natural yogurt, to be precise. For 47 p for a pretty huge tub ... Read the complete review

Perhaps one of the only products to survive an inflation and other recession effects I bought these last week for the same price as they were a year ago when I last bought them. A very low 29p, which works out to just over 7p a yoghurt and who can argue with that. When I bought them a year ago they were slightly different, you got 4 ... Read the complete review

When it comes to yogurt I love the stuff! So expensive it is though of late for a teeny weeny little tub of something that when I was perusing Sainsbury's one rainy day last week with time to kill as I didn't much fancy getting wet I decided to look for bargains only. Now lets get one thing straight from the off here. I'm really not an economy ... Read the complete review

My boys love yoghurts, it's the one thing which got them used to using spoons on their own. But even just as young babies (probably just over 4months) I began giving them yoghurts. They seemed to really LOVE them. Yoghurts are usually smooth, creamy and tasty at the same time, so would of been a lovely treat for them, something tasty and extremely ... Read the complete review

In these harsher economic times, I am incorporating more and more of the basic/value ranges into my diet. I am usually a Sainsbury's shopper, simply because it is most convenient for me to get to. I am gradually trying the Basics range to see what appeals and what I could switch to full time. The Basics 29p yoghurts would definately ... Read the complete review

Well I though I would be brave and try the 29p yoghurts. Normally I go for the Shape brand as they are very tasty. But I was shocked with these Sainsburys Basiscs Youghurts. They were very fruity and contained lots of peices of tasty fruit in them. I thought they were going to taste of water. But as I have said I was shocked they were ... Read the complete review

Unlike comedian Richard Herring, who clearly is, I am not obsessed with yoghurts. I just happened to want to write a thousand words about Sainsbury’s Basics yoghurts today, there’s nothing funny about it. It’s not like I’m involved in the yoghurt trade and I’m trying to promote it or anything. Well, saying that, my Dad’s farm does supply the milk ... Read the complete review
