 ... it splits when you are trying to cut it. They are a bit smaller as well but we only buy small pitta breads anyway cos the giant ones are too big. I always grill mine for a few minutes because I like them with a toasted taste but my dad microwaves his and they come out nice and fresh tasting. We buy these pitta breads from Sainsburys all the time they are so cheap and just the same as the more expensive pitta bread. You get 6 in a pack and they are white pittas, I don't think Sainsburys do brown one in the Basics packaging. The only difference is that these look a bit rough round the edges and are sometimes cracked on the top but not that much that the filling comes out or it splits when you are trying to cut it. When it comes to anything bread like I love it. In my home I'm known as the bread bung and would happily all day every day stuff myself silly with Warburtons bread, crumpets, muffins, croissants and crackers if I could! However the other day I did decide to get some of these pittas to try and help me ba a bit healthy and usually I'm quite a fan of the old pitta breads! The plan was to buy these and stuff them with chicken stir-fry, beef salad and my beloved sweet chilli sauce and things like that instead of eating 3 slices of toast dripping in butter and orange thick cut marmalade (my favourite food in the world lol).
