There aren't whole sausages in this meal, they are slices, and there is probably 1 -1 ½ sausages but this is an ample amount for the amount of mash provided. I love nothing more than buying some bargains in my local Sainsbury's and I recently found a 'Basics Sausage & Mash' for just 19p (usual price 85p) and for this I received a 300g portion which is ample as a decent sized lunch. I have had one of these for dinner before and just had some extra mash with mine. This sausage and mash is provided in a plastic tray with no frills and the top is sealed with clear cellophane to keep everything in and there is a cardboard seal over the top which contains all the usual information, nutritional information, ingredients etc and everything about this product shows that its cheap but for under £1 I wouldn't expect ...
