The crackers themselves are rectangular in shape with a slightly yellow and browned look to them. They have a few holes punched through them for good measure and there is a slight dusting of salt that it visible over both sides. The crackers are quite thin and although they are crunchy, they are very bland if you eat them by themselves. I actually don't like them very much because they are salty and for some reason I ...more

Premium Review Sainsbury's Basics Snack Crackers: Ritz but without the price tag! (335 words)

These crackers cost 45p for a packet of sixty in Sainsburys and they are part of the 'basics' range' I buy them every now and again for the boys because I am running out of ideas for both lunches and snacks. The crackers come in a very uninspiring plastic wrapper and when you take this away, you have two individual packets of crackers with 30 in each. Over the last couple of years, I have been trying a lot of supermarket basic/value products, as well as shopping more at Aldi in recent months. Premium Review Sainsbury's Basics Snack Crackers: A wonderful golden surprise of a cracker! (480 words)

I am crackers for crackers! I like any sort really and am not fussy so when I saw these for 49p in my local Sainsbury's for what is a rather large packet I lobbed some in my basket along with some spreadable cheese and liver pate to have as a late night snack later on that day! The Packaging: The crackers come mainly in a white plastic covering and on the front in white and orange writing I'm told they are Sainsbury's 'Basic' Snack Crackers 'Simple Recipe, Cracking Price', there is a simple scribble of a couple of crackers on there, I'm told they are Vegetarian, the best before date is clearly stamped on and there is an nutritional pye chart on ...  Read the complete review
