Sainsbury's has to be one of those supermarkets that you visit with the intention of buying a half a dozen items and you end up coming out with a trolley full. Our local Sainsbury's definitely has pulling power, I have to have a wander around the aisles that are crammed with all things tempting and that certainly includes the selection of clothing that they have to offer. On the whole I don't buy as many of the Sainsbury's Basic products as I used to, I usually head for my local discount store where I manage to pick up the good brand names for knock down prices. *The cost of food goes ever upwards* While I strongly suspect that some commentators are exaggerating rises in food costs, the price for fresh and processed meats have definitely risen over the last couple of years. I've taken this on the chin up 'til now, as meat production is fairly wasteful versus growing crops and unpredicatable rises would seem to be par for the course. I decided to try this product as I was somewhat horrified at the current prices for bacon, which can easily reach £3+ for a 'premium' product.
