I tend to enjoy this spread on crumpets and toast as a snack during the evening, and do love a peanut butter sandwich too, as long as it is fresh crusty bread, that it is spread on, and what with this being thirty three per cent lower fat than the normal peanut butter, must admit that i do like to think that i am doing my little bit without piling on...more

Sainsbury's Be Good to Yourself range SMOOTH PEANUT BUTTER. Well what with Christmas just coming upon us too quickly and having already piled on a few pounds what with the excuse of it being winter, and needing a little bit of body fat, have decided to try a few products from the be good to yourself rangte from my local Sainsbury's. This Jar of Smooth Peanut Butter, not only looks good it smells good and spreads good, and i am not much for all those lumps of peanut butter that stuck between my teeth. I really do love peanut butter but I'm more than a little bit aware that it's a very bad habit regarding my waistline! However I'm more than a little addicted to the stuff and love nothing more than simply standing in my kitchen with a tub of it in my grip and a teaspoon much to other people in my households disgust! The other day I saw this low fat version of my favourite and decided it had to be a worth a go. I wasn't thinking of how many calories I could save myself actually. No. I was thinking more along the lines of how much I could consume of the stuff to my usual and I could theoretically eat more it lol.
