I am a fish fan, but tuna is not at the top of my list but this fishcake is really not overpowering in a tuna taste. The light coriander and lime mix adds to make a fresh flavour. In a bid to eat more fish and healthy items, I recently bought Sainsbury's Be Good To Yourself tuna lime fishcake as it is on offer (3 for £2) and thoroughly enjoyed it. At about 4 inches in diameter the fishcake is tuna mixed with lime, coriander sauce and potato rosti covered in a breadcrumb and seed coating. When baked in the oven the seedy layer becomes really toasted and crunchy which is a lovely contrast to the smooth tuna centre. I am a fish fan, but tuna is not at the top of my list but this fishcake is really not overpowering in a tuna taste. The light coriander and lime mix adds to make a fresh flavour. I think I must be one of the very few people who don't like tuna; in fact I am not fond of any sort of fish except a little salmon now and again or the white variety when it's breaded or battered. But my daughter berates me, telling me how good tuna is for me especially at my age! I argue how come it can be good for me when pregnant and breastfeeding women are advised to limit their intake of tuna because of high levels of mercury. She counters that post menopausal women don't get pregnant and on we go! But it's all pretty good natured banter really!
