No fishy business with this fishcake! (Sainsbury's Be Good to Yourself Tuna, Lime & Coriander Fishcakes)

In a bid to eat more fish and healthy items, I recently bought Sainsbury's Be Good To Yourself tuna lime fishcake as it is on offer (3 for £2) and thoroughly enjoyed it.

At about 4 inches in diameter the fishcake is tuna mixed with lime, coriander sauce and potato rosti covered in a breadcrumb and seed coating. When baked in the oven the seedy layer becomes really toasted and crunchy which is a lovely contrast to the smooth tuna centre.

I am a fish fan, but tuna is not at the top of my list but this fishcake is really not overpowering in a tuna taste. The light coriander and lime mix adds to make a fresh flavour. I cooked the two fishcakes, had one hot with cous cous and roast veg and the other cold the next day with salad, and they were delicious both ways.

It only takes 15 minutes to cook so is a great meal to have when you are in a rush, and tastes fine after being frozen.
Each fishcake is only 200 calories and tuna provides much of the oils and can lower your blood pressure and cholesterol. As tuna has omega-3 fatty acids in it can help with lower the risk of heart disease, arthritis pains and as with other fish sources, it is great brain food!

Summary: Tasty tuna fishcake with a lovely crunchy coating.
