The smell of this conserve is really nice and its texture is thick and not runny at all. If you taste it you will notice that it is more on the sour side. Sainsbury's Blackcurrant Conserve 340g Having tried Sainsbury's Raspberry Conserve, I thought buying this one would be a good idea too. I bought the 340g jar with all my groceries from Sainsbury's online for £1.43. This is definitely good value for money, and other retailers' conserve cost almost exactly the same; Tesco's is for £1.43 and Ocado's is for £1.49. Sainsbury's Blackcurrant Conserve comes in a nice looking glass jar, and it should be stored in a cool dry place. Once opened, however, it should be kept refrigerated and consumed within six weeks.
