The smell of this conserve is really nice and its texture is thick and not runny at all. If you taste it you will notice that it is more on the sour side. Still, I like the way the juice comes out of the tiny fruit when you start chewing it. So, although it is not sweet, I still think it tastes great. Sainsbury's Blackcurrant Conserve 340g Having tried Sainsbury's Raspberry Conserve, I thought buying this one would be a good idea too. I bought the 340g jar with all my groceries from Sainsbury's online for £1.43. This is definitely good value for money, and other retailers' conserve cost almost exactly the same; Tesco's is for £1.43 and Ocado's is for £1.49.
