The texture of this spread is slightly oilier than Lurpak, probably due to the slightly higher oil content. It is also slightly less creamy but it spreads much easier than Lurpak, basically as soon as it comes out of the fridge.
It also has a fresh taste to it and I would say is slightly more salty than Lurpak.

As food continues to go up in price, I have been searching for cheaper alternatives to my usual brand names. My choice for butter/margerine was usually Lurpak Spreadable slightly salted which is not the healthiest choice (due to the added salt), but something which I enjoy whether it is on toast, spread on a sandwich, or in cooking.
