... note that it is much more flavoursome than supermarket brands. They seem to put next to no seasoning in and skimp on the garlic. Really I would reccommend either buying from a deli or making your own if possible. Despite the name the houmous in this is the same as in regular sainsburys houmous so anyone who has tried it should have a good idea what to expect. For those who are unaware, Houmous is a greek dip. Traditionally houmous consists of chickpeas, garlic, tahini (sesami seed paste), lemon juice and seasoning. Over the past few years however, the supermarkets have had some kind of greek dip arms race reculting in millions of types of houmous, this caramelised onion flavour is one such dip.
