... some parts of them are medium brown. I like that they are not burnt to have bitter taste. The burnt cheese has bitter taste. So these are baked perfectly. Some of them are broken. I found that usually one third of them are broken. I don't really care because we broke them anyway. They are cheese and very crispy. I love them really. How to use them? ------------------------ You can prepare them some kind of dip. I suggest sour cream with garlic and salt. Actually we don't really eat them this way. I prepare cr...more

I bought more then 10 times Sainsbury's Cheese Twists I just had no time to write a review on them. Now as I can't use my left hand for at least 3 weeks I have time to think over the products I use regularly. Price and package ----------------------- As it is Sainsbury's own brand product you will find them in Sainsbury's only. I bought a pack of 125 grams for 0.98 pounds. I never had a chance to buy them on offer. Since the picture was uploaded here on dooyoo its wrapper has changed a little bit. The picture is the same but the blue stripes are between light brown and olive colour. When you open the wrapper you will find a plastic tray and ...  Read the complete review

Ooh Sainsbury's Cheese Twists really are lovely. The first time I tried them, I was looking for finger food for a class buffet for my older ladies. You know how discerning they are. They let you know if you've given them rubbish. The foil sealed package looked nice and classy it keeps everything fresh, not that they last long enough to go stale . At 85p for 125 grams they didn't break the bank, we could afford a couple of packs. I hear they've gone up to 99p now but they are still good value. I laid the food out and told them to dig in. One or two of the ladies said they were nice and I should try one, when I turned around and they were gone! They'd woofed ...  Read the complete review

125g of Sainsbury`s Cheese Twists equals two half an hour episodes of Eastenders, by the time Dot Cotton has had one of her deep and meaningful conversations with Her hapless son Nick I have manged to crunch my way through half of the box. Watching Peggy Mitchell rant and rave in the Queen Vic sees the other half of the box off!...The box is only small really. Why is it that all of the best things in life are so moreish? Instead of loving all of the superfoods that are packed with vitamins and minerals I always seem to pick the most calorie laden junk food that has ever made an appearance on a supermarket shelf! Have any of you ever ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Going round the twist (441 words)

I love anything that has a savoury cheese flavour so when I was in Sainsbury's buying for my granddaughters upcoming birthday party and I saw their own brand Cheese Twists priced at a very reasonable 59p I put a couple of packets in the trolley, thinking I could present them on the buffet table in nicely patterned pot as they were shown on the wrapper. These Cheese Twists are loose inside a plastic punnet which is then covered in a thin foil packet, and this is where the one and only problem occurs. The Cheese Twists are flaky and delicate and having them rattle around in this punnet meant that the majority of them weren't only broken but quite literally ...  Read the complete review
