I am a fan of indian food in general but prefer the local takeaway to the supermarket ready meals. However, on a Sunday afternoon when you have had a late breakfast then more often than not lunch and dinner become one meal at about 4pm. The restaurants dont open till 5.30pm. That is how I discovered Sainsburys chicken Korma. Two packets are normally enough for the four of us and I just cook some rice with it. I can also recommend the sainsburys naan bread which is nicer than other brands. The chicken Korma is not bad at all considering it is a supermarket brand. It is a little too bland for my taste but then chicken korma is on the bland side ... Read the complete review

Of a weekend if I'm not out and about and my folks are when my Mum goes shopping she gets me a ready meal and some snacks and stuff. I can't cook, I won't lie about that and I like food I can zap in the microwave and tastes ok! I don't want to me messing about cooking for one after-all! lol I do love a chicken korma from time to time and requested this! The Packaging.... Not quite as depicted on the review photograph, it's recently changed slightly. Instead of a box now it's a round black plastic pot covered by a purple coloured 'sleeve'.
