... probably just under 2 inches and they appear to be crammed full of chocolate chips and you can really see the difference between these and the basic ones. These are lovely and crunchy whilst being crumbly at the same time and the chocolate chips are a welcome treat in each mouthful. The chocolate tastes very nice and not cheap at all. There are 55 calories per cookie which is actually quite a lot considering the size of them and as they are so small it's easy enough to find yourself eating 4 or 5 without breaking for ...more

Premium Review Sainsbury's Chocolate Chip Cookies: Delicious Sainsburys Cookies. (372 words)

When I saw these in the biscuit aisle recently I threw some in to my basket without much thought and it wasn't until last night that I tried them out. The biscuits are provided in a brown plastic bag with the familiar Sainsburys logo as well as the relevant nutritional information as well as pictures and within the bag there are two individual packets of cookies to help keep them fresher for longer. This is great as who needs 50 cookies out at the same time! I normally just open mine and throw them in the biscuit jar anyway so who cares really. My girls are very fond of chocolate chip cookies and I used to buy them the Maryland ones until I noticed Sainsbury's chocolate chip cookies sitting next to them on the shelf and thought I would give them a try! The first thing tht I like about these cookies is that they come in a double size packet which has a good chance of lasting us all week. This size packet has 400 grams worth of biscuits and only costs 55 pence, compared to Maryland which in Sainsburys costs 79 pence for only a 150 gram packet. So ...  Read the complete review
