There is a large selection of different grains in each loaf, and the mixture provides a very pleasant, nutty, almost rustic flavour. Packed with the goodness of multi-grains, this bread tastes delicious with a good quality slightly-salted butter, and strong cheese of your choice (I prefer a powerful Cheddar, or Swiss Emmanthal). It slices well, and thus is excellent for sandwiches, especially thick, "doorstop" ones....more

The loaf is like most others oblong in shape and has a crusty topped outer. Made of wholegrain it has a knobbly feel to it. On cutting a slice or two after getting it home you get a sense of homemade from it as the smell of freshly made bread invades the kitchen. I butter the sliced bread and taste it as if for the first time and yes I remember it ...
