These Sainsburys Jelly Babies came in a green & yellow bag with the Sainsburys logo, a picture of lots of different coloured jelly babies, nutritional information, ingredients and details on the Sainsburys company itself. Inside the plastic bag are lots of different coloured fruit flavoured jelly sweets. The sweets are shaped like little men and they are around 1-1.5cm in size. There are lots of sweets within the bag and they have a slight powdery cover on them meaning when you bite in to the sweet you have two different colours as the middle has a deeper colour to it. These are quite sweet and have a nice fruit flavouring too them without being ... Read the complete review

SAINSBURY,S JELLY BABIES. Recently i purchased a bag of these jelly babies for one of my younger grandchildren to try, i usually like to keep a supply of these cheaper sweets in stock and as i have a sweetie cupboard in my flat it is really nice to see these type of sweets on offer, as they were in my local Sainsbury,s for a mere £1.00 for two bags. The Packaging ********** Just a basic simple design a yellow plastic bag, which i didnt have to cut open with scissors, they tore open quite nicely. On the front of the bag it merely says Sainsbury,s Jelly Babies, and has a row of these sweets all lined up in the different colours and ... Read the complete review

When you take a bite out of one, you can really see the jelly inside but this isn't so obvious from looking at the outside alone. ***The Taste*** They taste very sweet and have a bit of a sickly taste if you eat too many in one sitting. Being made from jelly, they can be a tad chewy at times, although nothing like some sweets. As a general rule of thumb, you can eat one of these in three bites or less and often two bites will do the job. Although they are intended to be fruity jelly babies, they don't ... These cost just 62p for a 280g packet and although I'm not much into jelly babies for some reason Noah adores them. I tend to keep a pack in the cupboard so he can have the odd treat of a weekend if he's been a good boy! They are extremely similar to the Bassetts version and I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't be able to tell much difference between the two if they were placed side by side. They are made of gelatine and resemble little people. They come in five different flavours including lemon, lime, orange, blackcurrant and strawberry. These are actually very good. They all have a definite flavour to them which is unmistakable, well, all except ... Read the complete review
