I'm a new comer to the world of houmous. If I'm frank, I think it looks fairly unappetizing and if it hadn't of been served up as part of my dinner I would never of even tried it. Houmous is basically a middle eastern food, made from either mashed chickpeas or garbanzo beans. Possibly the reason as to why I've avoided eating it for so long. This lemon & coriander version contains 200g for the price of £1.19 and comes in a clear plastic tub with a cardboard cover around it. So half of it is recyclable.
