Sometimes, in our house, we have the nights when we just want to get in loads of junk food and little mini snacks and just have a 'party' style tea with lots of sausage rolls, mini sausages, cheese on sticks etc and it really is yummy and great fun for the whole family. There is minimal washing up and although it can be a little expensive sometimes I don't mind paying more to not have to bother with lots of washing up and cooking before I can eat when I get in from work. These Sainsbury's Mini Sausage Rolls can, naturally, be found in Sainsburys stores and on the www.sainsburys.co.uk website and they are available from the chiller cabinets. At present 20 ... Sausage rolls and Vol-Au Vents took pride of place at every party or wedding reception I ever went to...a good few years ago mind you! Now sausage rolls are pretty common or garden and many of us buy them regularly for a snack or a quick meal. You would never think that sausage rolls could vary so much, but if you pay a penny or two extra then on the whole the tastier the product. I have tried numerous own brands and cheaper versions and the majority have been a disappointment. My daughter was determined not to make the annual mistake of buying 100 frozen horrible sausage rolls that get wasted because they're hard or burned. Instead she went to the chiller section in Sainsbury's and bought two packs of their own brand Mini Pork Sausage Rolls. These are ready to eat but can also be warmed through in the oven for a few minutes. She served them cold and they were very nice indeed. The sausage rolls are certainly bite sized being only about 1 inch long and ... Read the complete review

I'm not so keen on full sized Sausage Rolls. It isn't about the quantity of them, as I can just as well eat probably all the pack of the Mini ones, the mini ones are just more tasty in my view. I often buy them frozen and cook them myself, but I saw these while shopping in Sainsbury's and decided to give them a try. Priced at £1.49 for 20, I thought they were slightly more expensive than Asda and Tesco versions, but Sainsbury's is a little more expensive for most things. These are in the chiller section and next to the other Pies and Pastry type items. Each Mini Roll has 61 calories and 4.1g fat, but Sausage Rolls were never the healthiest snack ...
