Sometimes, in our house, we have the nights when we just want to get in loads of junk food and little mini snacks and just have a 'party' style tea with lots of sausage rolls, mini sausages, cheese on sticks etc and it really is yummy and great fun for the whole family. There is minimal washing up and although it can be a little expensive ...  Read the complete review

I'm not so keen on full sized Sausage Rolls. It isn't about the quantity of them, as I can just as well eat probably all the pack of the Mini ones, the mini ones are just more tasty in my view. I often buy them frozen and cook them myself, but I saw these while shopping in Sainsbury's and decided to give them a try. Priced at £1.49 for 20, I ...  Read the complete review

These sausage rolls come in a pack of 20 and cost £1.49. They sit in the chiller cabinets at Sainsburys and contain pork wrapped in a roll of pastry. I really like sausage rolls and if we are having a 'treat' tea then I will always go for them. I tried these a couple of weekends a go and was pretty impressed. The rolls can be ...  Read the complete review

Sainsbury's Sausage roll's generally come in packs of 12, the 20 pack pictured here is a real buffet pack. The price for 12 is around £1.49 but if you catch Sainsbury's at the right time they can be £1 per pack or 2 packs for £2 depending on the offer. The packaging is Sainsbury's own brand packaging, bland brown packing, it doesn't ...  Read the complete review

Sausage rolls and Vol-Au Vents took pride of place at every party or wedding reception I ever went to...a good few years ago mind you! Now sausage rolls are pretty common or garden and many of us buy them regularly for a snack or a quick meal. You would never think that sausage rolls could vary so much, but if you pay a penny or two ...  Read the complete review

When I was a child I absolutely hated sausage rolls with a passion you may or may not believe. These seemed to be the cure all of all hunger on all ocassions, and it would seem that at any opportunity an older relative had to shove a sausage roll down my throat it would be done. So fast forward a number of years to your teen years and ...  Read the complete review

Neither myself or my daughter are big fans of sausage rolls but when we were preparing for my granddaughters birthday party we knew most people like them as buffet food. My daughter was determined not to make the annual mistake of buying 100 frozen horrible sausage rolls that get wasted because they're hard or burned. Instead she went ...  Read the complete review
