Advantages: tastes great, healthier, no pesticides
Disadvantages: costs a bit more than ordinary milk
Organic milk can be bought from Sainsburys in small or larger cartons the same as ordinary milk and the two varieties I have tried are mainly the semiskimmed and fullfat; with semi-skimmed being my main choice.
Taste
====
About the same as ordinary milk or better. I think it tastes somewhat better.
Health
=====
It's better for you as it is meant to contain no pesticides and is produced more like the way we used to make food and drink such as home grown vegetables or milk straight from the cow.
Pesticides and other additives have been used in the food chain for a long time and recent research suggests that some of them may be harmful to our health.
Value for money
===========
It's slightly more expensive than ordinary milk as is the case with organic foods alot however if your budget can allow then I recommend buying it as it'll benefit your health more.
My opinions
========
Since switching to Organic milk along with other foods more, I've found myself to have a bit more energy than I used to.
Organic foods can be more pricey though and I tend to only buy organic milk, juice and cereals in my shopping basket while everything else is non-organic; organic meat is very expensive.
Summary: Buy it if u can afford it this week!

- 07/04/08 Great start to this review, but I would have liked more info on the taste... what do you mean, for example, that it tastes 'better'? |
