 ... they were designed to be cooked from frozen and it said that they took just 14 minutes. I cooked them for a bit longer as they were at the bottom of my oven as I was cooking lots of bits and pieces so I think they were in for about 16 minutes. They looked good when I took them out although I'd recommend getting them off the baking tray while they are still warm as I let them cool and they did stick a bit (even though my tray is supposed to be non-stick). I picked up some of these when they were on Sainsburys '3 party foods for £5' offer just before Christmas 2008 as I wanted some quick and easy food to do for a Christmas day evening buffet. Normally they are £2 for a pack of 10. One the packet, they looked gorgeous! Chicken on a skewer marinated in what looked like a rich barbecue sauce. While choosing some party food from Sainsbury's recently I saw some delicious looking Chicken Yakitori Skewers which looked saucy and rich on the packaging, they were frozen so I picked up a couple of boxes for the New Year celebration I am having with my granddaughters'. They are frozen and take just 14 minutes to cook on Gas Mark 6. Well, they are supposed to take 14 minutes but I left mine in for over 20 minutes and they still didn't feel like they were cooked properly. The skewers and outside of the chicken was beginning to burn but the meat inside felt a little slimy and had a strange texture to it.
