In recent times, I've become a bit of a houmous addict, having weaned myself off a snack diet of mainly crisps and pork scratchings in favour of more exciting and healthy foods! Having tried most of the varieties available from Sainsbury's, I have to say I am very pleased with the range. This is quite an unusual recipe, combining the salty basil flavour of pesto with the garlic taste and familiar texture of houmous, but it works surprisingly well.
