 ... instead of 6 so i think they are good value. How i eat them and what i think: I always put mine on a plate and warm in the microwave for 30 seconds then top with a little maple syrup. The pancakes themselves were light and fluffy. They were not at all hard, in fact more of a cakey texture which really added to the 'treat factor'. They aren't in fact nutritionally that bad for you with only 79 calories per pancake and low fat. I eat 4 (but then again i am a bit of a pig!) and find that keeps me full until lunch time. Its become a tradition in our house to have pancakes with maple syrup as a treat for breakfast on a Sunday. We've tried all different varieties so this is what I thought of sainsburys effort. What you get/How much You get 8 scotch pancaks which come in a cellophane wrapper. They cost 89p. Sainsbury's Scotch Pancakes come with 8 in a pack and are very sweet. They are easily breakable, but they are nice and moist. I usually buy these and very much enjoy them, I really get quite unhappy when they run out. They taste really sweet and syrupy, they have a really beautiful texture, too. It's a very cakey, yet squishy kind of texture that I really love. Sainsbury's recommend that you should try eating them with strawberrys and cream. I however, enjoy them very much when they have been toasted and with lots of melting butter on them, mmm.....delicious!
