 ... simmer for 5 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Cooking this was so simple, even I could do it! It blended well and cooked in the 5 minutes dead on. It was thick and white in colour. lots of small green pieces of aspargus through out the soup and I thought they would be dry as this is a powdered mix and they really wernt. As a fan of soup I thought I should give this a go as I adore Asparagus. I usually eat Heinz and the likes and very rarely purchase shop own brands but this was the only Asparagus soup that was available in Sainsbury's and I so fancied it! Packaging... Asparagus Soup, Simmer and Serve Soup Mix Packet (53g) is the same packaging as the photo at the top of this review. Green packet with a pan of asparagus soup on the front and it clearly states that it is indeed a Sainsbury's own product, that its ready for serving in 5 minutes, and serves 3.
