... Jam that i enjoy, as am not a great fan of Jam with loads of hard pips in. I also took a Jar of this over to my daughters for her children, and i have yet to find out if they liked it as much as i did, i will definetely give this a five out of five because i will be buying this again, from my local Sainsbury,s Store which im lucky to say is just a stones throw away from where i have just moved too. I had some of this with my croissants this morning. Although we changed to Tesco as a trial last week, previously we've shopped at Sainsburys for years so we still had nearly a whole jar of this in the cupboard. It costs 69p for a 454g jar which I think is exceptional value for money when you think how much you can easily pay for some of the brand name jams. And this is every bit as good as the brand names! It's lovely and sticky with a great strong strawberry smell and taste. It's really quite sweet so obviously it's best for those who like their jams on the sugary side rather than having a savoury fruity flavour like some do. I ...  Read the complete review

I adore toast and what goes better with two slices of warm toast and butter than jam? Well I always thought that was the case till lately and me being a toast lover has been very upset with the jammy situation of late! Now let me just explain. I can eat as many as 8 slices of toast a day or crumpets, muffins or croissants or a mixture of both. I actually live on bread products and therefore when my Mother shops she has a list of the stuff I need each week which consists of lemon curd, peanut butter, pate, marmalade, soft cheese and of course my beloved strawberry jam. The problem occurred a couple of months back. Mum was buying me a pot of jam as ...  Read the complete review

SAINSBURY,S STRAWBERRY JAM. Having read a review on this Jam i have to agree that this is really a great tasting jar of jam. The Package ********** Costs 99p, comes in a recyclable jam jar, with a screw on/off lid and has Sainsbury,s written across the front of a pictured label of Strawberries and is not one of their basics range but nevertheless i still think that it is a great price for a great tasting jam. What i really liked about this Jam was the real taste of Strawberries but not too many of those nasty pips, like you get in some of their value jams and it also is kinda like jelly jam, ...  Read the complete review

We are not big jam consumers in our house which is why this pot of Sainsbury Strawberry Jam that is sat in front of me has been in the fridge for a number of weeks, not to worry as the use by date is March 2010 which gives you some idea just how many preservatives are in this product . It is such a rare purchase that I have no idea how much this 908 gram ( weird amount ) jar cost me. The boyfriend and very occasionally myself only ever use it to add a little sweetness to a morning bowl of porridge therefore it is not worth getting an expensive brand so this Sainsbury own label one does the job. There is a hint of sweet strawberries when you open the ...  Read the complete review
