I'm finding that I buy quite a few things from Sainsbury's thesedays We have a branch about 20 minutes walk from the house, and it is on the main road for me to go to work, or to head into the town. Asda and Tesco are over the other side of the town, so we tend to nip in here more often. Yes, I will still say this shop is quite expensive, but I am surprised by some of the offers and cheaper range in here. There is a small chilled section of Indian and Thai meals in our local, so I decided to try this. I like Curry, but prefer it a bit more mild than a right spicy Curry. Sainsbury's Thai Green Chicken is a ready meal of sorts. It comes in a clear plastic box (Dooyoo picture is not the current one!), and you can clearly see the contents before purchasing. The packaging is minimal and like most Sainsbury's products has the colour wheel showing traffic light colours for how healthy it is. This one only has one orange segment (salt, 1.04g) with calories a reasonable 354, 4.1g of fat, and 3.4g of sugar. The package is a 400g portion size which is around 2/3 white rice, with some red peppers, baby sweet corn and spinach to one side, and a portion of chicken in Thai green sauce on the other.
