Sainsbury's Basics Milk Chocolate: ... basics milk chocolate is a few pence cheaper than the dark or white bars, it is also poorer quality. It tastes like a cross between cooking chocolate and a poor dark bar and I don t really like it despite the dark being my favourite in the basics range. Lots of basics are good value e.g. the biscuits, I don t think the chocolate is as good value; it costs about what branded bars went for a couple of years ago. ...

curlycabbage Sainsbury's Basics Milk Chocolate
... to give the children homemade snackes of cookies, crispie cakes the bigest cost is the hocolate. So while shopping i had a look at the "No frills" milk, dark and white chocolate. It was very cheaply priced but i thought as we were economising it was worth a try so i brought two bars of each of the dark, milk and white chocolate. To my suprise again they turned out really well and the children were enjoying these cheap but tasty snacks for a fraction of what they...

I have tried a few of these cheaper brands in the past, b...
