My children love chocolate flavoured breakfast cereals, and their particular favourite is Kellogg's Coco Pops. However, whenever I suggest buying a supermarket own brand clone of this cereal, there are moans and groans and more often than not a point blank refusal to accept anything but the Kellogg's cereal. It would appear that Kellogg's TV marketing campaign is working a treat. However, whilst shopping in Sainsbury's last week, I spotted their own brand version of Coco Pops called Choco Rice Pops which cost £1.79 for a 600g box as opposed to £2.25 for a 375g box of Kellogg's Coco Pops.
