I have sampled the Italian tagliatele, priced £4 for only 500g. It was included in the 'Special selection' because hey it's direct from a small Italian supplier, and it differs from usual pasta in the number of eggs per kilo (6 in this case) - which makes the flavour much richer. J Sainsburys have a special selection in every store as far as I’m aware, usually consisting of a small (8ft?) display with various hard-to-find and/or high quality lines from across the globe.
