Sarsons Malt Vinegar was established in 1794 and has been traditionally brewed and matured since this date (according to the bottle). It has a really distinctive taste and you can definitely tell the quality difference between this and tescos or asdas own branded version.

The recycleable glass almost oval shaped bottle contains 250ml of vinegar and is available from tescos for 69p per bottle (though is actually on offer at the moment for 59p). It has a red plastic flip top lid which is great for saving spillage but can come apart from the bottle quite easily!

The ingredients of this vinegar are malt vinegar from barley and roast barley malt extract and has 5% acidity. Simply shake the bottle and pour over your fish and chips for a delicious meal accompainment to your meal. Sarsons has a really strong flavour and a really rich strong acidic smell to it so dont go overboard as it soon makes your eyes water. Very little is needed to be added to your meal as the flavour is quite strong so a bottle will last you a good couple of months.

The bottle is not cheap as vinegar goes. You can get a bottle of tesco value vinegar 568ml for 13p and although not bad you can definitely taste the difference. Sarsons is what you want if you are after the best quality vinegar. The smell is delish and tastes fab. Try it
