Since Scarlet was born I have started to make home made food as much as possible for her and my partner. I am doing quite well I think but I am certainly no Gordon Ramsey. I recently read a review on Schwartz Garlic Granules on Dooyoo which made the Granules sound so yummy and easy to use I thought 'ohh I will try them because I am far too lazy to peel and crush garlic cloves'. So on my weekly shopping trip I had Garlic on my mind. After a long search I found the granules on the spices aisle and put them into my trolly. I couldn't wait to get home now to make something. I love garlic - I love it in everything, the stronger the better . I despise chopping it or crushing it though, simply because not only does it make me cry like a baby, but it also leaves my hands very pongy. I've tried various pre-prepared garlics, from purees to the 'Very Lazy' minced garlic with varying degrees of success . One product I really do like is Schwartz Garlic Granules, which cost £1.41 for a 47g jar from Sainsburys . The jar handily tells us that 1/4 of a teaspoon is the equivalent of one glove of fresh garlic . The garlic is in very fine granules - a little like salt, but finer, and a pale cream in colour.
