I have been the first to admit that I am not exactly Delia Smith in the kitchen department. However, I have been making a real effort lately yo make more food from scratch at home. When attempting to learn to cook, the best thing to do in my opinion is start with simple meals. One of my favourite meals is lasagne and I was recommended to try the Schwartz packets to assist me as they are simple to use for a novice like myself and a good place to start on my journey to become a domestic goddess! Schwartz Lasagne Mix............... I have to admit I am a little bit of a cheat. I love to make home made things such as spaghetti and lasagne but often I can never get the mix of herbs, garlic and the like to taste as good as these packet mixes. Therefore I have now resigned myself to the fact that I will probably always buy the lasagne mix from Schwartz as they really are very tasty and make cooking up a lasagne very quick and easy. They are cheaper than buying a jar of sauce and take up less room in the cupboard and create less waste so for 75pence per packet you really can't go wrong. The packet instructions are basically ... I am generally a creature of habit, but I also like to experiment with my habits! For example, Monday night is pizza night, but some days its a pepperoni, other days its a ham and pineapple. Friday night is wine night but it could be red, white, rose or sparkling or even a glass of each.!I guess you get the idea. Now I know you are hooked on the sad mundanity of my life, but I am only going to reveal one more...Wednesday night is pasta night!
