Advantages: cheap, good bubblegum

Disadvantages: no chocolate coating

Oh these icecreams always remind me of my childhood. I always remember the icecream man coming round and me asking for a handful of screwballs.

When i saw these in the shops i had to buy them, i love the icecream its very creamy and very delicious. However, i must say i think plain vanilla icecream works best with screwballs. What i love best about screwballs though is when you get to the bottom, because the bubblegum ball which is at the bottom, often the flavour mixes in with the icecream and i love the flavour.

The bubblegum is then the final thing, sometimes you can get really yummy bubblegums, my favourite the red ones. But sometimes they are rock hard, you break a tooth trying to chew them. The one i miss most about screwballs, is that you used to get a thick layer of chocolate on the top, mmmm i loved this chocolate, its a shame no supermarkets have caught onto this.

In all screwballs are great, kids love them, and the bubblegum surprise is that extra icing on the cake.

Icelands screwballs arent bad, they are raspberry ripple mind, the bubblegum is pretty good, no hard ones here! But if see one with chocolate and plain icecream, these are much nicer personally speaking. Very cheap at just a pound.
