Advantages: Taste, price, low in calories.

Disadvantages: So moreish you'll want to eat more and more until you've eaten too many.

Seabrooks have been around for more than 60 years and one thing is certain they are not going anywhere fast. They have found a formula for crispy snacks to fill lunchboxes up and down the country which will not be beaten by any other crisp producer.

When I was younger I thought that seabrooks were more luxurious a choice to make than Walkers. I no doubt felt this way because of the strong flavours and crinkle cut crispiness. However at 35p a bag at most retailers they are one of the cheapest bags of crisps around. You get 31.8g in a pack which means your 35p goes a long way.

Seabrooks make an awful lot of flavours of crisps from normal flavours like salt and vinegar and cheese and onion to more exotic flavours such as canadian ham and my personal preference cream cheese and chives which over the years I have found goes brilliantly with a ham sandwich at dinner time.

The seabrooks experience is special, they use sea salt and sunflower oil on their thin crinkle cut crisps which add to the crispiness. The salt and vinegar flavour contain 165 calories per bag

I adore Seabrooks crisps and can't imagine there are people out there that haven't tried them but if you're one of them get down to your local newsagent and buy your first pack. If you can't find them there check out the seabrooks website, www.seabrookscrisps.com

Summary: Variety of flavours and taste delicious at a small price.

I'm sure they've changed the recipe over recent years. I swear they used to be thicker and crunchier. They taste so synthetic now.
