There was a time when Seabrook crisps were the best crisps out there, they used to beat Smiths hands down, but those days are gone, along with Smiths*, but can Seabrook still compete against Walkers.

The answer is a resounding no! They have gone downhill faster than the Jamaican bob sleigh team.

Calories per bag 165, Protein 1.7g, Carbohydrates 19.4g, Fat 8.9g, Fibre 1.3g. Each bag is 31.8g so that works out at just under 30% fat per bag.


==My Thoughts ==

Another one of my childhood memories shattered into little pieces, I remember when these crisps were the cream of the crop, and the local shop were always selling out as people favoured them over Smiths.

But now you'd be lucky to sell to anyone more than once, I know for a fact I'll never buy a packet again.

They are very greasy to the touch and taste, and they leave your lips feeling greasy after you've eaten them. As for being Salt and Vinegar flavoured, well I've had more flavour in a bag of plain crisp, it's just non existent here.

They're also really thin, which probably accounts for the huge amounts of fat, but they're just not really crispy either. Don't get me wrong, they do have a crunch to them, but there's something not quite right, again I think it's the amount of grease making them lose some of their crispiness.

It's a real shame that they're so poor in comparison to what they used to be, but I think after 64 years in the business it's time for them to look elsewhere to make their money.
