Seabrook Crinkle Cut Prawn Cocktail Crisps:
... a treat when I was younger. Over recent years I have occasionally picked them up in Tesco s for 25p a packet - which is exceptional value considering that you can pay up to 70p for a packet of crisps within other brands. I recently spotted packs of six prawn cocktail Seabrook s crisps in my local pound shop for £1.00, so I decided to stock up and I have started eating them more regularly. These crisps have been av... Seabrook Crinkle Cut Prawn Cocktail Crisps ... tried a packet of these crisps when I bought with a meal deal I got from Asda and was so impressed I will be buying more, in multipacks!! I have seen them available in various places from supermarkets, to newsagents and off licenses, they price varying greatly from 22p to 40p. At 166 calories for a 31.8g bag these are quite high in calories but then they are bigger than the average bag so it is outweighed. Kind of - I still ate the whole bag so that is a lot of calorie consumption. These crinkle cut crisps are well flavoured with a tangy prawn cocktail flavouring and are very similar in taste to the well known brand of Walkers crisps, but some how feel lighter. I ... Seabrook Crinkle Cut Crisps (Cheese & Onion) ... crinkle cut crisps are made quite local to where I live so I find these in more of the smaller stores so I tend to find I eat these most dinner times. These are crinkle cut and are a bit like McCoy s. The look? These are crinkle cut so look like a little ripple on a crisp, these tend to be of high quality. The crisps bag looks like a mellow yellow, white and blue in appearance with a picture of the crisp on the outside. Price? £1.24 for six 31 gram bags, which equates to (53.8 per 100 grams)or around 20p per bag About the Taste? These are quite a rugged crisp, not quite as harsh as Mccoys can be but you tend to get this with crinkle cut crisps, they almost t... Seabrook Crinkle Cut Crisps ... love Walkers crisps, but sometimes I just want something a bit different. Until I moved to England, I don t think I d ever had Seabrook crisps, but once I found them I really started to like them. I don t see them sold everywhere, but I do always see them in Asda. In 1939, a man called Mr C. Brook was going to open his own fish and chip shop, however when the signage for his shop came back they had made a critical spelling error which made his name Seabrook. He embraced the idea rather than disliking it and then he and his son came across the idea of doing this as a crisp company. Ever since this brainstorm, the crisps have been popular in the North for over 60 years ... Read the full review: Tasty Crinkles by topsyturvy |
