Although this meal is frozen, it takes no more than nine minutes to heat it in the microwave. All you have to do is pierce the film and microwave it for five minutes then pull back the film, stir, recover and heat for four minutes. If you were lazy like me, you might be tempted to omit stirring it, but with this particular meal I do not advise you to do that for the chicken pieces are not fully covered with the sauce. Sharwood's Takeaway chicken balti 350g I am not one of the fans of Sharwood's cooking sauces, yet when I found Sharwood's Takeaway chicken balti on offer in Asda (buy two for £3) I thought I should try it. It is a frozen 350g ready meal that comes in a microwavable plastic black dish covered with film inside the orange cardboard box you see in the picture.
