 ... the plain ones and they were fine. The Tate: They taste amazing, fresh and doughy but without the greasyness of the nan breads that you get from Indian Take Aways. THe pack make 5 good sized individual breads, they arent as big as the ones you would get from a take away, but defintely sizable enough to accompany a curry at home, especially if you are having rice aswell. I think this is another great product from Sharwoods and will definetly be picking it up again....more

This is a great product. I tried it for the first time tonight to accompany my (from the jar) curry. Basically, it is a naan bread mix that costs under £1 from the supermarket that you make yourself at home. How to Make: Very simple, anyone could do this - you simply pour the contents of the packet into a bowl and add warm water, give it a bit of a mix and let it stand (the pack says 20 mins but I only gave it 10 and my bread was fine), then put it under a hot grill for 1-2 minutes and your bread is ready! I love naan bread, and when I saw this packet mix to make your own, I decided to give it a go. The mix comes in a purple paper packet, and the back has clear instructions on how to make the naan breads. The only other thing you need to add is warm water, although there are also instructions on the packet advising how you can vary the bread to your own taste and make either garlic and coriander flavour, or tomato flavour naan. Given my absolute love of coriander (I put it in everything I possibly can!), I decided to try the garlic and coriander version.
