The Packaging **********

Comes in a carboard box, reasealable lid, also recyclable which is good.
Inside the box is a paper white bag which is easy to open up, and contains 500grams of Icing Sugar.

This product i brought today as i have been baking cakes for my little grandaughters birthday party, which is for tomorrow, she will be ten years old, and i always buy this icing sugar as it really works well.

The Results **********

This icing sugar mixes well with a little water, and it is great because it keeps in the cupboard for a little while, and you can use as much or as little as you require when you need it. I store mine in an airtight container and have noticed that the use by date has a long shelve life actually the packet i brought today is available to be used right up to the month of September 2012, which is really great, but then as im always cooking this would never last that long, in my house.

I prefer to mix mine as thickly as i can, i mix mine the old fashioned way, but if you cant mix by hand, you can use a whisk.

It is great for icing small cakes, fairy cakes, biscuits or buns.

Also i mix mine with a little butter and this makes great butter icing, good for those fairy cakes helps to glue their wings on to.

This product is made by appointment to the Queen, so whats good for her majesty is good enough for my family.

I also mix mine with a little food colouring, to change the colour depending on what i am about to decorate, and also i make chocolate icing, or chocolate butter cream, when making a chocolate victoria sponge.
